1:1 Neuro Rehab
1:1 sessions give you the flexibility to choose the frequency. So if you are unable, for whatever reason, to come to The Wellbeing Hub for two weeks solid, it will be the best solution for you.
Mentoring and life coaching that will allow you to develop habits you can be proud of. Habits that will help you live life to the fullest.
”Neil has been fantastic and an invaluable help for me in my recovery. I am so happy that we found Neil as he has greatly improved my morale and physical abilities with his motivating and thorough sessions. Thanks to Neil I feel I have a better future. I would unhesitatingly recommend him”
Paul Yates – Stroke Survivor
Why the right support after a stroke is vital
A stroke is one of the most serious of neurological conditions, and around 100,000 new cases are reported every year in the UK. There are currently 1.2 million stroke survivors living in the UK.
Stroke has a 85% survival rate but 2/3 of working-age survivors are unable to return to work. Which is where The Wellbeing Hub comes in.
Chances are, you receive 6-8 weeks of hospital care after a stroke and then another 6-8 weeks aftercare. There are minimum requirements for discharge; if you hit those, you will get discharged even if you have a chance to improve further.
Often, the stroke survivors and their families are left without help and guidance, which is especially the case when it comes to mental health support.
Even after treatment from the brilliant NHS, which we’re lucky to have in the UK, stroke survivors can lack the confidence that further recovery is possible.
